Matin Luther King Jr was an American activist and a pastor . He was known for his role
in the advancement of civil rights .
Martin Luther King Jr was born on January 15 , 1929 in Atlanta , Georgia . He was leader in the
African American civil right movement . His real name Michael King , but his father changed his name
in 1934 on a trip to Germany . He was the middle child between his older sister , and his younger brother .
He graduation from high school at the age of fifteen , and received B.A. degree in 1948 from house college .
In Bostan he met and married Carter Scott King , and had two sons and two daughters .
In 1957 he was elected president of the Southern Christian leadership conference . He received over
six million miles and gave speeches over twenty five hundred times . On April 1968 he was assassinated
on the balcony of his morel room in Memphis Tennessee .
At the end we should respect which other, Because we are all the same . Martin King is a great
man and we should respect him .
